Abstract

ToolIDL (pronounced "too-Lidl") is an Interface Definifition Language for describing tools in Model-driven Engineering (MDE) contexts.

ToolIDL is defined by an abstract syntaxt (defined by a metamodel) and a concrete textual syntax (described using Xtext).

A toolkit for ToolIDL with a suite of associated tools is currently under development.
