Current version: 1.0.5

Release date: 18-07-2011

Download file: e-Motions(1.0.5).zip

Required plugins: EMF 2.4 and GMF 2.1 . (Java 1.6).

Changes from previous version:

  • The seed for the random numbers generator has changed. Before, the seed was always the same and the thing that changed in each execution was the first element of the sequence. Now, in every execution, the seed is different, and so the random numbers sequence.
  • Now it is possible to use many probabilistic distributions in the e-Motions rules. For this purpose, many probabilistic distributions numbers generators have been developed. All these distributions and the way the must be called in e-Motions are:
    • Exponential distribution: eMotions.expDistr(mean)
    • Weibull distribution: eMotions.weibDistr(scale, shape)
    • Normal distribution: eMotions.normDistr(mean, variance)
    • Gamma distribution: eMotions.gammaDistr(scale, shape)
    • ChiSquare distribution: eMotions.chiSDistr(degrees of freedom)
    • Erlang distribution: eMotions.erlangDistr(scale, shape)
    • F distribution: eMotions.fDistr(numerator degree of freedom, denominator degree of freedom)
    • Geometric distribution: eMotions.geomDistr(mean)
    • LogNormal distribution: eMotions.logNormDistr(scale, shape)
    • Pascal distribution: eMotions.pascalDistr(success probability in each experiment, number of failures until the experiment is stopped)
    • Pareto distribution: eMotions.paretDistr(shape, scale)
    • Uniform distribution: eMotions.unifDistr(lower bound, upper bound)

Changes from previous version:

  • Now it is possible to have mathematical operations with integer and double numbers
  • To use the power operator in e-Motions, we have the function "pow()". For example, to obtain 4^2, we write 4.pow(2)
  • Fixed the seed problem in ramdom function
  • Now you can define a search pattern
  • Now you can use the search pattern in the search analisys
